We were told (in the midst of a lot of information at check-in) about the 9:30 am orientation that is recommended for new guests, for info about dining and taking a tour. The resort got quiet pretty early despite bars being open until 1am. It's pretty small, and the clientele skewed older or right around our age (early-to-mid 30's). Traveled here after seeking an adults-only all-inclusive resort.
Note to management, when you have the larger groups in maybe allocate designated areas for drinks and meals as they took over and ruined a few nights with loud and obnoxious behaviour. But PCB was exceptional for the relaxation I was after. I never return to the same hotel twice as too many amazing places in the world to explore.

I found the opposite and thought quite a few miserable and could do with a lesson in how to smile. Many have commented on how wonderful the staff are. Housekeeping cleaned my room once in 10 days! Not enough umbrellas for shade on the beach and people putting down towels from 5.30am I’m not joking!Ĭlosed Aqua bar at 6pm 3 evenings due to staff shortage? Shame as this was a nice quiet bar and the other main bar was so noisy and boom boom boom. Would highly recommend Stingray city (more for the fact you get picked up in a tender from the beach) and if you go on any boat trip watch the rum consumption I only just made it off the boat it was a great day out! Marvellous Marvin on the beach was of course marvellous we booked our excursions through him. Very geared towards the American clientele I missed my selection of cheeses after dinner as not a dessert person. The Pelican snack bar was amazing fresh pizzas made in front of you and the burgers were something else! The main buffet was adequate but if you’re a foodie then it wouldn’t be for you. We had 3 dinners in the Pineapple Grill, steak was amazing and lamb shank fell off the bone. Loved sitting in the infinity pool reading my book drinking cocktails!

So many repeaters most people I spoke to were on their 4th plus visit and I could see why. It’s quite a secluded resort no where to really go out wondering or shopping wise but we didn’t want that. Wondering around the resort couldn’t imagine staying in another block. We had beach front rooms in 200 block on the second floor which were perfect. The beach is beautiful, the floaty things in the water I could have lay there for hours. Our 10 days at PBC ticked every box we hoped it would and was the most special and relaxing holiday I’ve had in a very long time. Upon check-out, the pre-authorisation is released, assuming there are no charges made. We understand that not all guests incur additional charges during their stay, but this process assists the resort with fraud prevention. Incidental purchases may include tours, excursions, gift shop purchases or dining in the speciality restaurant. A USD$350 pre-authorisation will be processed on the credit card at check-in to cover for any incidental purchases or similar expenses. Please note: guests are required to present a valid form of ID (passport, driving license, ID card) along with a valid credit card at check-in. Topaz (breakfast and lunch buffets, and a combination of buffet and à la carte dinner, just steps away from the beach).
